Effective 1 August 2026, the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship Programme has harmonized the contribution structure of its two established contribution routes: the Sustainable Island State Contribution (SISC) and the Public Benefit Option (PBO). The reform establishes the same non-refundable government contribution for both options, simplifying the programme and giving applicants greater flexibility to select the route that best aligns with their objectives.

Harmonized Contribution Structure
As of 1 August 2026, both contribution routes follow the same pricing structure:
- $250,000 for families of up to four.
- $25,000 to $50,000 per additional person after four.
- The government contribution is non-refundable.
This change effectively eliminates the price structure difference between SISC and PBO.
Greater Flexibility for Applicants
The harmonization simplifies the programme by removing a key difference between the two contribution pathways.
Applicants can now choose between SISC and PBO based on the route that best aligns with their objectives, rather than making their decision primarily based on the contribution amount.
PBO Value Proposition
The PBO continues to offer several features that may be of interest to applicants and advisors, including:
- Efficient application processing, with most applications processed within 120 to 180 days.
- A high level of transparency, with contributions directed to a specific project of national importance.
- A generous revenue structure for advisors.
The harmonization of the SISC and PBO contribution structures represents a simplification of the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship Programme. With both routes now carrying the same contribution requirement, applicants have greater flexibility to select the option that best suits their objectives, while the programme maintains the distinct characteristics and value propositions of each pathway.
